Our policies at Divine Yoga School, Rishikesh, are put in place to maintain a safe, respectful, and enriching environment for all students, teachers, and guests. We strive to act in a transparent and professionalmanner and to provide a holistic learning experience that nourishes body, mind, and soul.
Enrollment & Registration Policy
- Students may enroll in our programs through our website, by e-mail, or in person at our Rishikesh center.
- Enrollment is confirmed only upon payment of 20% of the fee at the time of booking the course and a payment of the balance at our center before the course commences; otherwise, students will not be admitted.
- Admission may be refused to students who do not meet course requirements.Payment Policy
- Payment may be made by online transfer, by credit/debit card, by UPI, or in person at our center.
- Fees are nonrefundable unless the course is cancelled by the school.
- Partial payment of fees may be acceptable for selected programs, such details being available at the time of registration
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Students may cancel their registration not less than 7 days before the commencement of a course and will receive a refund of 50% of the fees paid.
- In the case of cancellation within 7 days of commencement, there will be no refunds made.
- Where courses are cancelled by Divine Yoga School, students will be entitled to a full refund or may transfer fees to another course
Attendance Policy
- Students are expected to attend all classes and sessions for the best results.
- For all courses, 100% attendance is required in courses to qualify for certification.
- Late arrivals or early departures are discouraged where we notice that they may adversely affect your attendancerecord.
Dress Code Policy
- Students are expected to wear comfortable and modest dress suitable for yoga or physical therapy and meditation.
- Students are discouraged from wearing jewelry or attaching accessories to the body, which may impede movements.
- Appropriate yoga or loose clothing (e.g., leggings, t-shirts, or traditional loose clothing) is recommended.
Health & Safety Policy
- Students are expected to notify the school before enrolling of any existing medical or other physical conditions.
- The school will strive to maintain a clean, healthy, and serene atmosphere, but students are expected to follow the safety instructions of the instructors.Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
- All participants are expected to show respect to the teachers, staff, and fellow students.
- Any type of discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may be grounds for immediate dismissal from the program without refund.
- All cell phones must be turned off or in silent mode during class sessions. Use of cigarettes, tobacco, or alcohol is strictly forbidden during the course of the training.
Accommodation & Food Policy
- The school supplies clean and hygienic accommodation (if accommodation is used) and expects students to maintain, and care for the rooms and common areas.
- Food served is vegetarian and any special dietary restrictions must be communicated to us in advance.
Examination & Evaluation Policy
- There may be a series of theoretical and practical evaluations necessary to determine the student’s assimilation of the particular teachings which fit the courses.
- Students are expected to take all of the examinations to receive certificates for successful completion of course work.
- If a student has an exceptional circumstance, there may be an alternative exam or retest session scheduled, by prior arrangement.
Privacy Policy
- The personal information obtained in the registration process is kept private and is used strictly for the administration of the course and for student/office communication.
- Personal information is not given to any outside interests without the student’s prior written authorization.
Program Modification Policy
- Divine Yoga School reserves the right to change schedules, programs, course material, and instructors, on occasion, due to unavoidable circumstances.
- All participants will be informed in advance of the change and arrangements will be made whereby any alternatives may be available if necessary.
Customer Support & Grievance Policy
- Students may contact the school administration by either email or telephone for any questions or problems.
- All problems and grievances will be attended to promptly, and therefore fairly, so that student’s satisfaction and safety are assured.
